Hi Standard Information - Re: 1200 fps?

First thing I do is make sure the ammo drops in the barrel as advised in this forum. I keep gun well cleaned and lubed. My first problem was high feed, I adjusted mag as advised, and it got much better. On sub sonic, and standard, I have an occasional fail to extract, but some of that ammo does not drop fully into the barrel, so I suspected that as the problem. But, for the most part it is a high feed problem. Some rounds are probably just barely making into the chamber, as I am getting some lead flattened against the bolt face and face of the barrel. Mags were taken apart and scrubbed. I guess I should order the drive spring. Thanks for your help. Joel Lambert, Atmore, AL

  Hello Steve, Wolff makes higher force springs for your 1981 pistol. They do not make one for the 1953 model. Perhaps one could be adapted. Personally, I see absolutely no benefit to beating these... more
