Well Tom I guess I got lucky since a first model H-B was one of the first High Standards I was able to put in my collection. The H-D came several years later. Over and over again I have people at the gun shows here tell me they have a H-D but after further discussion I find out they actually have a H-D Military. Another question would be the survival of the different models.

Jack, I have heard the counts were off by a factor of 10 but the number of "H-D's" that come up for sale or view seem to be much greater in number then the first model "H-B's" that Mr. petty report... more
