Thanks for the info on the proper method on measuring the barrel length. The measurement is 3" from the front edge of the slide to the muzzle. The serial # is 4488681 , on further examination the #'s 44 & 1 appears to have a deeper mark and not in line with the #'s 8868 maybe it was added much later for unknown reasons, so i can assume 8868 was the original serial number. There is only one lever on the left side the "safety" and one on the right side. The button on top is missing leaving a hole about 4mm in diameter.
