Gregory Nylen
High Standard model mystery

Hello -- my dad has a High Standard 22 pistol that he bought from a friend in 1950.
We are trying to figure out what model it is. The Serial Number is 322522, no other identifying info on the gun in terms of model name. He said it has a 7" removable barrel but I think it is actually 6 3/4". Rear sight is adjustable. It has a thumb safety, walnut grips with thumb rest, no external hammer. And has a slide lock. We are thinking it is either a Model D or G-E, but not sure. Thanks for any info!
