Hartford Arms Singhe Shot

John, How are you? I purchased a Single shot Hartford Arms pistol Serial number S209.The "S" is not the same size as the 209 stamps. The pistol has "Made By The Hartford Arms & Equip. Co Hartford Conn. Patented 22CAL. Long Rifle" on the left side of the frame. There is no other writing on the pistol. The grips are grooved wood with 2 screws is each side. There is a knurled safety button behind the trigger. The slide release is a large thumb lever. The hammer looks to be case hardened. The slide has 209 stamped in the bottom, no "S". The rear sight is a non adjustable with a square notch in a dovetail. The front sight is a blade with a wide base in a dovetail. The Slide takedown button is on the rear of the frame, not in the slide as in a Model-B. The gun has a polished blue finish. Any information you have would be helpful. Thank you, Vic
