I have a Supermatic Citation 107 Military, 7 inch fluted barrel in superb condition left to me by father. It is the first gun I ever shot as a boy. The serial number is 2145764. Any information that you can provide about date of manufacture and/or first sale would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hello Bill, Is the barrel really 7.00" long? Is the trigger and safety blued, case colored or nickel plated? John Stimson

Hi, John, The safety is blued, the trigger is not blued or nickel plated. Yes, the barrel is 7.00" and fluted.

Hello Bill, Then the trigger is case colored? High Standard made no 7.00" barrels. Your either mismeasured or the barrel has been modified. John Stimson

John, I guess the trigger is case colored. According to the March, 1969 parts list, the barrel is probably #10983: "Barrel - Fluted - 7 1/4" - SC-M". I mis-measured slightly.
