For purpose of this thread: It is a Model 106 Military Citation. Serial numbers do match on frame and slide. Serial Number is 1,860,660. It has a 7 1/4" fluted barrel, holes drilled and tapped on top for some optical device, trigger logo. No weights, still have the plug screws installed. Custom grip. Never had a stabilizer mounted.
My crude guess is 1968 shipping. Maybe John can tell us the exact date, the catalog number as shipped and to whom.
Wouldn't this have shipped with a red-bottom magazine? Just for fun, I'll guess it shipped as a catalog # 9243 (accessories optional).
