Hello Roger,

A retracting rod spring and a driving spring are the same. If kinked it needs replacing. Numrich sometimes sends you what you want and sometimes not.

The firing pins were generally fitted to the gun for length and that actual dimensions may vary. On the later models the firing pin held forward should not reach the breech face. I don't recall if that is true for the Model H-D Military. I would need to look at a couple of mine to be sure and I am not able to do that now.

The magazine on the right is a finger style magazine with the large diameter follower button where as the Model H-D Military had a small diameter follower button

The screw that retains the pick-up spring is not an adjustment and you should not fool with it. The cut is clearance for the firing pin.
