Malikhi was amused by Evelyn. She seemed to be rather eccentric, not that he hadn't already guessed that when he'd seen her in the gardens with the bright orange lipstick. He felt that on anyone else, the colour would be an awful choice but, for some reason, the vivid colour seemed to suit her. Now that she'd calmed down, he felt a lot more relaxed and was more than happy to shovel food into his mouth at the same pace she was. He was pleased to have met a girl who seemed to love food as much as he did, seeing as most of the girls he'd met (though, he had to admit, that hadn't been many), seemed reluctant to eat an entire sandwich.

"I'm excited," he managed to get out, in between bites and he agreed with her assessment of the food. It was indeed incredibly delicious. "I can't wait for dessert! I hope they have profiteroles and ice cream!"

He helped himself to some more Yorkshire pudding with another ladel full of gravy and decided to slow down on the eating front, if only so he and Evelyn could actually hold a proper conversation. Otherwise, what was the point of having made a friend if you subsequently don't talk to them?

"I'm looking forward to Charms lessons, I think," he elaborated on his answer. "And Potions. I think they could be really helpful for, uh, some future plans of mine if you get my meaning."

A grin spread on his face, this one having a mischievous quality to it and he sent her a conspiratorial wink. Then, he chuckled and had another forkful of mashed potato. "What about you? What are you looking forward to?"
