Evelyn Stones, Pecari
That's not true, sometimes they ask for halfsies.

Dessert sounded wonderful. "I'm a sucker for brownies. Honestly, a good brownie is totally unbeatable. But I'd take profiteroles and ice cream, too!" Evelyn admitted.

She smiled, doing her best to match Malikhi's pace with the meal. At least he didn't seem grossed out or anything. Quite the opposite in fact. His gravy and Yorkshire puddings looked amazing though, so she took some for herself from the cornucopia in front of them.

Then the question turned, as it tended to, to magic. Evelyn stifled a groan. Although she was interested in why he was so eager to learn these things and what his future plans might be.

"Your future plans sound dastardly," she said, noting his grin and wink. It would've been hard to miss those clues.

She thought for a moment, images of climbing trees and picking out the brightest socks she could find, smearing on the most intense lipstick available running through her head. Perhaps being dastardly with a new friend would be fun.

"I'll tell you, but I want in on your plans," she said eagerly, leaning towards him. "I'm lousy with spells," the admission didn't hurt so much now somehow, "but I'm great with potions and herbology and I want to help."

She realized then, that he'd actually asked her a question. "I'm most looking forward to meals, to friends, and to practical magic," she said.
