Tabitha Hawthorne
Why would I do a thing like that?
Sat Jul 28, 2018 18:09

Tabitha let out a slow sigh, trying to calm her nerves. She wouldn't be able to eat until she did calm down otherwise, all she'd end up with would be indigestion and a bad stomach. The side-hug from Mary was very welcome and warming and she eased, slightly. She was relieved that Mary was sitting next to her, looking lovely in green. The colour suited the woman very well and Tabitha told her so, hoping that it was okay to pay such a compliment. It felt only right after Mary having complimented Tabitha on her eyes the first time they'd met. Tabitha's cheeks flushed a light pink as she recalled that and she cleared her throat and picked up her goblet of wine to take a sip before she said anything else that could potentially embarrass herself for the rest of eternity.

Mentally, she growled to herself to pull herself together. She was Tabitha Hawthorne, who'd travelled the world and faced off against Occamies and Runespoors and here she was being intimidated by a load of teenagers and blushing like a school girl. For goodness sake, she needed to sort herself out.

After internally berating herself, Tabitha cleared her throat again and started to help herself to the delicious looking food that was spread on the table in front of her. She was definitely having some of those lovely looking sausages...

"So," she started, now attempting to have a real conversation with Mary. "If we're to go travelling later in the year, where would you like to go?"
