Advanced Class - Revision

The term may not have felt like it was all that far through, but it had reached its tipping point. They were more than halfway through this part of the year and that meant they were in that final rapid slide towards the exams, each passing week seeming to gain momentum and pull them faster and faster to those few hours that would determine so much of the students’ futures.

“Good morning,” Selina greeted the advanced class. “Today, we are going to have a revision session. In a moment, I’m going to reconfigure the desks into three different work stations. One will be for conjuration. If you feel confident, as usual, aim for design work and make it more complex” she smiled. Whilst they had focussed a lot on plants of varying complexities, the students could also conjure simple small to medium household objects, such as chinaware, and working on the complexity of their finished products would be a good way of them stretching themselves now.

“The second table will be for partner spells, for example working on Transfigurations of unusual size. If you want to practise any other type of practical, such as human transfiguration, you may join either of these tables

“The third table will be for theory revision. There will be a basket of cards in the centre. Draw one out, and try to explain the answer to a partner.” The cards asked a range of theory questions, from ‘Where do vanished objects go?’ to ethical dilemmas, to the stages of animagus study.

“If there is anything you’re stuck on, please seek help from your classmates or from me,” she instructed. With a wave of her wand, she arranged the tables into the different study sections.

OOC - feel free to make up spells or theory questions, so long as they are reasonably in line with what has been taught in this class before.
