I am always aware of ROI when I purchase gear...

Although I carry liability insurance, cranking up 100+lbs. in the air increases risk....while making the event a "two man" operation.

The above two things keep telling me "no" when the notion of "line array" enters my mind.

FWIW: If I choose to expand my sound-for-hire business I may see about cross-renting a small line array from a company in Providence and add the cost to the bid.

If I were to spend more $ on production, I'd probably upgrade my basic lighting rig..
People seem to be willing to pay as much (at times more) for lighting than for sound..

Go figure..
