Elvis LIVE with Johnny Cash
Tue Sep 11, 2018 10:14

We have Elvis AND Johnny coming up in a month or so (I think). This is not a local production, in fact, the promoter is the agent and the show provides their own lights and sound...all we provide is the stage, the electricity, possibly a digital snake and perhaps ticket sales, that is not worked out yet.

This act is a former Branson show. They both had gigs at different venues and when their contracts expired, they both got together with the promoter and are doing road shows now. There tech crew is one woman who will run the entire show. The backing tracks have the full band and lighting cues. The live mics are just that "live".

I am tempted to go just to see the performance. Whether I work the gig or whether I buy a ticket does not matter to me...easier to bring my wife if I buy tickets.

We had a promoter from a different organization contact us about several of his "stable of artists"...most are tribute acts...and yes, most will be OLD audiences...and in case some of you forget, the majority of the regular faces around this site are past 50 and closing in on the end of the race. (I turn 69 in 9 weeks, but who is counting.)
