My classical ensemble is playing a wedding ceremony (5:30pm-6:30pm)in Newport, RI.

Two weeks ago the wedding planner called me to ask if I can provide a stand-mounted mic for the Rabbi. (The band wanted $450.00 to provide a mic....talk about gouging the price).

I told her I can do it for $225.00. I got the gig - easy-peazy. I just need to show up 1/2 hour earlier than I had originally planned.

So I guess that I'm sound-gigging a bit on NYE...
