Everyone falls down. Everyone finds themselves facing challenges. Yes, some of us more than others.

But IMO the real measure of a person is how they RESPOND to those challenges. Do they sit there and do nothing whining that they are a 'victim of society' and expecting everyone BUT them to fix their problems and face their challenges for them? Or do they figure out how to fix their problems and face their challenges themselves?

Clearly the homeowner feels that the individual is just a helpless little victim of life. That individuals really just can't be held responsible for their own actions. Probably a result of his own inability or unwillingness to exercise self-control.

  • victims of society. Some of us maybe more victimized than others. I'm not saying that society doesn't have an impact, but as long as we have the freedom to choose, we can choose to behave honorably.
