"The love of money is the root of evil"
Wed Dec 6, 2017 11:51am

We see it in all fields. Scientists who want funding for special projects - which may or may not be viable - but which provide a living often accept grants knowing they aren't really deserved.

Padding the budget, asking for and getting more than is actually needed, is another practice which people seem to think o.k.

Creating unnecessary jobs/works just to give money to people who could/should actually 'work' for it.

Hyping the news to make oneself special and desirable to be purchased at a high price.

It has no end, the ways that people justify dishonest to fill their pockets.

And if you're part of an organizational culture which buys into it, and you don't, you're out on your ear. Look what happens to 'whistle blowers'.

Our corrupt government is a clear picture of our corrupt culture, imo.

The more casual, the less formal, business becomes, formality fades away and casualty prevails. We see it happening everywhere.
