USA proposes abolition of UNRWA. Yeah, TRUMP!
Sun Aug 5, 2018 11:17pm

The evil agency that has supported Palestinian terrorism for decades is now on the verge of abolition, thanks to Donald Trump.

Here is a very brief overview of the UN and its refugee policy. UN has TWO agencies for dealing with refugees:
UNHCR (United Nation High Commission on Refugees)
UNRWAp (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine) Please note that the "P" is suppressed from the symbol to disguise the singular focus of UNRWAp to the exclusion of all else.

UNHCR is in charge of all refugees in the World except for Palestine. UNHCR has sheltered, fed, housed, and resettled millions of refugees since its creation.

UNRWAp handles ALL and ONLY Palestinian "refugees". UNRWAp has done little since its foundation except to support Palestinian terrorism. MOST of the money provided by UNRWAp has been used for terrorism. Also, UNRWAp has never resettled even ONE refugee.

UNHCR considers a person to be a refugee only if that person (not his ancestors) was removed from the land in question. It covers only one generation.

UNRWAp considers refugee status to be hereditary for an unlimited number of generations, thereby prolonging the Palestine refugee problem.

It is high time that the special agency for Palestine ALONE be abolished and its functions be subsumed by UNHCR.

It is high time to obliterate the fake notion of "Palestine".

Trump is moving to being about this necessary reform.

The Palestinians have vowed to fight a US plan to shut down UNRWA.

The Palestinians have denounced reported US attempts to undercut a United Nations agency that serves the so-called Palestinian refugees and their descendants.

The US-based Foreign Policy magazine has reported that in an email this year, Jared Kushner, Mideast adviser to President Donald Trump, called for a “sincere effort to disrupt” and ultimately dissolve the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).

In previous US-led negotiations, the fate of Palestinian refugees and contested Jerusalem were to be settled in a peace deal. Palestinian officials now fear that the Trump administration is moving unilaterally to settle these issues in Israel’s favor.

Nabil Shaath, an adviser to Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, alleged Sunday that the Trump administration is “pushing to impose facts on the ground, by realizing all of Israel’s demands.”

Abbas’ office stated Saturday that “the determination of the Palestinian leadership and the steadfastness of our people will foil all conspiracies to end the Palestinian cause, and our people have thwarted all previous attempts to undermine their legitimate rights.”
