Shiloh (Nikkala thru Mira)
Mon May 21, 2018 7:37pm

Nikki smiled. “Okay,“ she said, not about to worry any more over whether or not she was being too pushy on the matter of him getting checked out. She knew from his smile and his response that he didn’t really mind it. He did have a tendency to be a fussy, doting husband and father himself, after all.

“I sure hope so,“ Senn said with a smile, then paused. “Juno,“ he repeated as though it was just dawning on him. “She might be happy for us, but she’ll definitely be unhappy with me if I’ve made you miss your plans with her this morning,“ he said, looking over at the time. Yuuri was going to call Juno this morning with a time to meet at one of the training rooms so they could attempt getting Juno to shift into her other forms finally.

Topaz nodded a bit before laying her head down against his shoulder again, noticeably relaxing more and more in his arms. “That all sounds good,” she agreed quietly, closing her eyes and nestling her head against his neck a bit. Usually she was pretty eager to get out and do something, but… after yesterday and even this morning, she seemed perfectly content to do nothing but just stay in with Fii and take it easy today.

Bayla looked over as Sable finally returned. She smiled and nodded just a bit. “Yeah. I think I can make it,“ she assured Sable. After whatever she’d done to help dull the echo for a time, it definitely made a walk to Sable’s home a venture she was sure she could do. She moved to get up, sliding her feet into her shoes, ready to head out with Sable, curious to see just where the cloud leopard druid girl lived.

“Thank you, Juni,“ Maks said before smiling and nodding. He looked down at Vi. “Ready to go back and see your sisters?“

Violet seemed in awe by Shale’s magic and the floating tray before looking up at Maks and smiling back at him, nodding her head.

“Alright, well then, let’s get going,” Maks finished before turning to head back where they’d all come from.

“Bye…” Vi said in a small voice to Juni, over her shoulder, then walking with Maks, hand in hand with the dhole, hugging Hank with her free arm and her head swimming with the fairytale stories that Fauve and ginga read to her and Aster about the heroes…

Ginga nodded a bit and then paused and looked at Fauve. “Up North…“ she repeated. Fauve had made a brief and passing remark at some point… about all of them going up north when this was over, to start fresh. Had she meant they would go back to his tribe? Granted, she didn’t know anything about Maks. The fact he’d left behind eight sisters, all but one being younger than himself.

“Just goes to show that you can’t judge a book by its cover,“ Gypsy noted before they reached Taupe. She couldn’t say she was surprised by the dirty look she cast towards them. That was one peacock who didn’t live up to her pretty plumes. “Morning, Taupe,“ she greeted simply, since the peacock clearly wasn’t going to be the first. “Everything okay?“

Meeka smiled brightly as Frau had a waitress come over and made the order for them. She looked at Frau and then around the large dining room and then back to her friend. “Frau? Are you and Liam married?“ she asked. Meeka had gotten much better with her words since first coming here with Daire, but when it came to him, she still referred to him in the third person, because to say his name, even to him, meant something special to the mink. Some saw it as a slave habit, but in fact, it’d never been that. To call him by his name at all had been a privilege, and so she liked to say it, even when she was conversing directly with him.

Thayne nodded. “Good.“ He looked to Menda and nodded again, but this time more of a silent gesture of gratitude. “Thank you, Menda, for you help. If you think Baillie’s good to go, I promised her breakfast at the dining room,“ he said with a smile, knowing the prospect of leaving the infirmary and going to get something to eat would make the margay happy.

Cleo moved to get out of the bed, moving a little slower as she realized she felt a bit sore, though didn’t really connect it with mating. The last time she’d done it hadn’t been anything like what happened with Ceil, so… this was a different type of soreness than she’d felt that first time. She stood by the bed and looked over as Ceil came back with the dress and slipper-like shoes for her to wear to meet the others at breakfast. He seemed delighted at the prospect of her making friends, so she was certainly try… but at least he wouldn’t force her if she felt uncomfortable or nervous once they got there…

“Looks like they’re ready for another nap,“ Ashe said with a smile as she continued to run her fingers soothingly through Orrin’s hair as he nodded off and seeing Fionnula doing the same in Rumi’s arms. “Seems like they’re pretty lucky. They’ll have a little niece or nephew to play with as they grow up, too,“ she said, meaning Sean and Quinn’s news today.

Lassa hummed softly in approval of the food and how good it tasted. She looked over at Trilander and paused a moment as she chewed, catching him looking at her instead of eating his own meal. Instantly, the selkie was blushing again and, no doubt, it was probably doing all sorts of things to make Trilander’s situation worse. She looked back to her plate and smiled shyly, taking another bite. “It’s tastes really good,“ she said, even her tones sounding like they were blushing.

Odette smiled. “Good. Then it’s on our list. We can do that today if you want.“

Yuna finished up getting ready, coming back up to Silvi. She smiled up at the lovely dragon queen. “Ready,“ she said, her tail dancing languidly behind her.

Indy smiled and nodded. “Any time, Princess Millie,“ he said, hoping that she’d have luck finding what she sought with Kia. She was a sweet girl, so odds were that she’d be open to trying to help.

Sarah watched the storm dissipate back to its usual dark swells in the clouds. “I think something came out of that storm,“ she said to Opal, wondering if anyone else had seen… but her father was enjoying the morning with Dia… and Drak had gone to the island to visit with Haru and Vespa… None of them could have known what it was, though, not really.

Vespa looked at Miharu’s hand moving over hers and their fingers weaving in between each others. She then carefully turned enough to look back at Drak’s voice as the man suggested all four of them have dinner. It wasn’t clear to her just yet, not quite, that he was trying -- in Drak’s usually hard-to-place way -- that he was extending an olive branch and actually wanted to get to know her now that she was free of her parents influence. She looked back to Miharu when he put the answer onto her, essentially. What did she think? She seemed to take a moment before nodding a bit. “Okay,“ she agreed.

Mira moaned through her heavy purrs as she leaned back in Koran’s arms as he started to move, feeling completely safe and secure in his grasp and giving him more access to her chest, which he seemed intent on enjoying at the moment. Her claws dug into his shoulders a bit, her fingers kneading and flexing against the strong muscles beneath. He knew it was a sign she was feeling good, and her claws couldn’t really hurt him. It was probably more arousing than anything for the drachen, just like her love bites when she got really worked up and frustrated with his foreplay and teasing.
