Shiloh (Soraya thru Sarah)
Re: No Subject
Sun Jun 10, 2018 10:51am

Soraya watched Fai work, but stayed quiet during the girl‘s accolades over the wound‘s dressing. She took in all of the aspects of Fai and then turned with Abbadon and spoke in barely a whisper. “She‘s Arcadian,” she said, which he would know the name. This wasn‘t the first one she‘d encountered either. The Goldens had a relationship with the Arcadian Silver Foxes going back generations. Their‘s was a purely peaceful kingdom, and like so many of those, they had good standing relations with the Golden Empire, which was comprised of strong warriors and watchers. She turned back to watch Fai again, noticing the marks on the backs of her hands when she went to use her magic. She could feel something in the pouch she wore against her side vibrating as the lights danced, as though trying to get her attention. Soraya‘s father had been entrusted something during the fall of Arcadia… something he passed onto her to protect when he became Emperor and she returned for this past month. She just never thought… she‘d find a reason to guard such silly things… until perhaps this moment. If Fai was… what she began to thinks he was.

Delilah nodded a bit, moving in to sit down on the bench across from Donovan as Fai tended to his wound, careful not to disturb anything Fai had laid out, slowly drawing her large, fluffy tail in close to keep it out of the way. “First… know that we’re so happy that you’re okay, Donovan..“ she said, honestly. “I know Eros is particularly concerned,“ she added with a smile. “But… Acerbus and I need you to tell me as much as you can about what happened. Who you think did this… and if they’ll be back…“ she said, the concern obvious in her voice.

Kia listened and smiled, nodding a bit. “I… I might be able to help…“ she said. She paused as Millie held her medallion. “May I?“ she asked, stepping in a bit closer and touching it to look at the inscription. Upon contact with Millie, Kia’s wings shimmered with light and took their full form instead of the smaller, more decorative size she’d had them at. She looked back at her own wings and then at Millie. “It’s Somnambulan…“ she said. “Ancient dream language… You learn it… in your first walk through the Passage…“ she said, but Millie hadn’t been to the sacred passage between waking and dreaming… let alone the rarer one that Kia had traversed for Saber yesterday, the Sacred Way, between dreams and the soul. Every step a Dream Walker took… unlocked another level of their knowledge. “You must be seeing more than dreams, though… perhaps you are… a Seer too…“ she said. There were many, some with gifts stronger than others, like millie or Lorna… who see the imminent futures, unlike the Oracle who could see all paths any singular action could cause. “It’s not something I can show you in an hour or a day…” she said, looking at Millie, sadly, hoping she wasn’t disappointed by that news. She didn’t know how time sensitive these ‘dreams’ were.

“Oh, right. I guess you haven’t had too much interaction with the knights since you got here,“ Odette said, knowing that Soli was trying very hard to appease her brother by trying to explore other avenues to fighting. “He’s one of the eldest sons of King Traitorin,“ she said. “He’s captain of the knights here,“ she explained. “Actually…“ she turned a but, having seen them all come in, pointing discretely at the table with the three avions, but specifically at the adorable dove. “That’s his wife.“

Nikki smiled and felt the purr start up in her chest, unable to control it when she was happy. The sound was probably a pleasant surprise for Averie, who was usually willing to do whatever it took to hear that sound from her. And she hadn’t purred since last night, because of her worry for him… but now the content sound was filling the room like music. “…Me too…“ she returned before finishing her meal and moving to get up, setting her empty plate and silverware onto the cart. She moved onto the bed beside him again, happy to sit with him and wait until he was finished, too.

Senn paused a moment. He had today off… and while he thought to let the sisters have their time together, hearing Torin would be in attendance… he figured why not? “Well, twist my arm, why don’t you,“ he teased. “I’d love to come. Guess that means I have to get ready too…“ He gave her another kiss and then moved to get dressed. “He’s really into all of his scientific stuff, huh?” he asked about Torin. “Doesn’t it make her feel like an experiment?” he asked curiously.

“What’s happening?“ Bayla whispered as the light stopped when Tomoe reacted so harshly. But something made Bayla feel a little more at ease, unaware it was Nour’s presence. She was regretting their investigating the tree right now… Her ears pitched back as Bayla was starting to feel the throbbing in her head again, the anxiety and fear exacerbating the echo that Sable had quieted when they woke that morning.

Nour fell back onto the ground with a pained sound, but she looked at Tomoe, fully aware that she could have done much worse to her. She could feel the faint sting of the marks left by her friend on her side, having sliced through the Ancient’s robes and gown. But by no means a wound that would leave her ill from it. She whined and shook her head, sitting up. “No, Tomoe. No. I can’t… and I won’t stay away. Wherever you go, I will follow you. I will find you. And I know that one of those times, I will bring you home. Because I love you. Because you are my dearest friend and I searched so long for you… waited so long for you to come back… I will not lose you again, whether you want it or not,” she said, on her hands and knees in front of the vixen. She reached out a hand and placed it on her legs, her light emitting from her again as she refused to stop trying, knowing the spell fought back because it knew… she was a threat to it. But it would need her and her brother to ever be successful… but Nour, in her desperation, wouldn’t stop trying… and would require Solace to pull her away before she let Tomoe severely wound her in response.

Maks looked up at Fauve and nodded. “Dining room sounds like a great idea,“ he said, then looked to Aster and smiled. He moved slowly, taking one of her little hands and then moving in and kissing the back of it. “It is a pleasure to meet you, Aster,“ he said, letting go of her hand so she could hug her stuffy again. “I hope you’re hungry for breakfast, because the castle has anything you could imagine,“ he said before standing up and looking at Fauve and Vi. “And I hope you saved room after that muffin,“ he said with a wink, making Vi blush as deeply as her little sister did. How Maks had no idea his affect on the girls of the Starrunner family… well, all but one. He glanced towards the washroom. “Maybe you should be the one to let her know,“ he said, hoping the whole family came, for the girls sakes… but no one could make Ginga go. She was still… going through things. It was hard not to notice.

Once the waitress came up, Gypsy put in her order for a ham and cheese omelet, bacon and hash browns, but was promptly recommended the Elvin Crepes. She nodded, ordering one to try, maybe even to share with Braska… which was something they usually did when it came to any desserts… but now… they’d be doing it as the couple everyone already thought they were! She then looked around the table for the others to order.

Cleo looked at Baillie as she said that, her tiny ears pinning back a bit. “I can’t read…“

“Neither can we,“ Meeka said, which seemed to surprise Cleo. To… not be the only one. “But trying to learn,“ she said before climbing up onto her chair beside where Frau was sitting once more. “We’re getting crepes,“ she squeaked. “You’ll like them.“

Cleo touched one of the chairs and looked around, then back at Ceil, as though looking for something from him to let her know she was okay… that she’d be okay here…

Thayne wasn’t worried about Baillie. She’d been socializing a lot more as of late, which was good. It helped to break her of her old mentalities from slavery. It was taking some time, more than it seemed to have taken with Meeka… but she was making so much progress. He was proud of his girl. “I’m sure Frau is right,“ he assured Ceil… then smield and nodded as Ceil mentioned Daire. “It takes time, Ceil. Trust me on that one. We’ve all been through it. But… she’ll be okay. Sometimes to make progress, she’ll have to do things outside of her comfort zone, like meeting new people or being away from you for a little while,” he said. “We’ve been through that too,” he said, meaning himself and Daire.

Ashe smiled upon breaking the kiss, settling in against Rumi, in his arms, and blushing warmly when he complimented her. “Thank the gods I have you here to remind me,“ she said softly, giving him another quick, soft kiss. She knew they’d only get to cuddle like this until breakfast arrived, but at least it would be a little while… and nothing said they couldn’t do more of it afterwards.

Lassa shivered and let out a soft moan when Trilander drew the silken nightie up and off of her, just the feel of that alone against her sensitive skin causing a reaction in the girl. They had made love far more than ever before in such a stretch of time, including two intense ties. It really was no surprise she was responding so easily to him, and yet… it was Trilander, and she responded to him always when he got like this with her! She felt his kisses moving down, leaving a tingling trail of warmth and butterflies everywhere his lips touched, her hands coming up to rest against the top of his head lightly as he moved lower still, making the innocent girl blush just knowing what she’d be feeling next. “Tri…“ she eked out adorably.

Marin smiled and continued to sip her javin. She looked around and sighed. Her people were impressive… that was for certain. They were already laying out the foundation for the new wing, which would be just as many stories tall as the rest of the castle. The crystal that they used being so pure that its very placement into tainted ground purified it and expanded the safe boundaries of the castle. They would need someone to bury a perimeter of Dia’s crystals further out once it was complete, in order to produce a decent garden around the wing without fear of the Abyss. But those with shadows in their blood, like Pallas and Daire… could do it far safer than someone without it. “I suppose it’s nice, a symbol of hope for the future… to build a school in this place,“ she said. IT implied someone felt strongly enough that they would have a future beyond Raiser and Chaos.

Rostan move his hand into the water and splashed her just a bit, not enough to make any mess on the floor. He smiled and laughed lightly. “I’ve never been bored with you,“ he corrected her. Even as friends, he enjoyed the time spent just talking with her, or even in their silence at times, the fact she was around at all was nice compared to a silence experienced when alone. “Think you’ll be hungry after? I can have them send a bag… or… you know… you could go ala carte,“ he joked, which meant feeding from him.

Yuna listened as Silvi explained about the garden, her ears twitching and dancing with curious wonder as she tried to imagine such a place. “Flowers that make… music…?“ It felt like something out of the fairytale books Altair read to her from his private library. “Maybe that one,“ she said and smiled, just as their crepes were set on the table in front of them, and their drinks, a pitcher of the juice Yuna had wanted set down as well, so the kitten wouldn’t have to always ask them for a refill.

Vespa looked up into his eyes when he tipped her chin up, her eyes then closing at the feel of his kiss. She returned in, feeling those funny things in her tummy her always made her feel when he kissed her like that. Even the roses on her wrist seemed to glitter with their light, as though trying to assuage her fears that she’d been at fault in any way for what had happened… not just yesterday, but any of the times before, when Raiser had taken control of the girl. She was so new to this world and had the misfortune of being the daughter of a woman who even Severin -- a monster in his own rights -- deemed a monstrous, soulless creature. She was living proof that darkness does not beget darkness. She was something pure that came from the union of two vile beasts, and now she was free of them. True, Raiser could just do to her what she’d done to Tomoe, inject her with a little of her own blood, reclaim that bond, but it seemed Miharu had no intentions of ever letting that happen to Vespa again. She broke the kiss now and opened her eyes, looking around some. “Haru… the flowers..” she said quietly. During the kiss, they’d simply exploded in bulk and vibrancy, hanging down like a curtain around the bed, though the sunlight still filtered through to warm them fully.

Mira actually blushed a bit as Koran helped her finish getting washed up. They mated like crazy and yet that part made her blush! She looked at him and then down, flexing her toes a bit and trying to get a sense of how her legs felt. “I think… I need to try to stand on them to tell…“ she said with a small laugh. Obviously… easier to test them out of the shower than in. Koran bringing her to the bed ran the risks of him not letting her off the bed again, despite his own insistences they get dressed and head to her appointment. She knew her needy drachen well, after all.

Sarah heard his laugh and knew she’d pegged his thoughts right. Give her mate an inch and his mind would leap into the gutter when it came to her requests of him! She laughed as well and shook her head a bit. “Well, I hope you’re not overselling him,“ she teased when he noted she’d appreciate the company that would show up shortly.
