Shiloh (Kia thru Sarah)
Re: Ic and Occ

Kia blushed just a little as Millie offered they get together for lunch some time and even to have Kia and Saber meet Kahi and Ri. She nodded. “That sounds nice,“ she said, looking back where Saber was. He was actually a fairly sociable rabbit when conditions permitted. She had a feeling he wouldn’t mind expanding their social pool a bit, especially after they’d been so withdrawn due to Tyce and his buddies’ activities. She then looked back to Millie, taking in a breath to fight off her urge to yawn, not wanting to be rude, but still feeling tired. “Thank you,“ she said when she finally felt it was safe to speak without showing her exhaustion more than she already had.

Nour was afraid to open her eyes, to find out she was just dreaming again. But all of these emotions mingling and swirling inside her in conflict let her know it was real, because they’d kissed and his hand was warm on her cheek and it all felt amazing and nerve-wracking and then there were all of the feelings about Tomoe just beneath that… the desperation and the sadness over her friend’s situation. That’s how she knew it was real, because in a dream… those feelings would have been snatched away from her if only for a short time. Then, as she opened her eyes to look at Solace, her hears perked up at the other voice. She looked at Adriel and her ears fell back again before she moved to stand up, smoothing out her robes. “Adriel…“ she greeted quietly, but having the decency to blush when the Light Elf expressed reserved joy that the two of them had ‘finally come together’ and that they should take time with each other, as Rohdorn was with Tomoe and wouldn’t be leaving her side any time soon. “Thank you,“ she said when Adriel offered her strength to Nour, to help save Tomoe. Whatever was needed. “I only hope when Luminos learns of it all and comes rushing to save her from Raiser, the sight of him will not send her running back to the Corruptress,“ she said quietly.

Rohdorn began to hum. It had the soothing quality of a lullaby, but it was his verse. His song. The words may have been robbed from him, but it was still his, and Raiser could not own it. For Tomoe, though, it would likely offer some comfort, a sense of the burdens on her being lifted. The humming likely causing a stir in the abyss, playing on what true night existed swallowed up inside of it, breaking it apart in a sense, so it could not settle so heavily on her.

“I know that…“ Topaz said, wanting him to know she believed that already. She knew Fii would find a means to ensure that, even if it meant he returned to cold showers and potions to quiet his longings, as he’d done back when Topaz was far from open to intimacy. Her ears turned a bit as she gave him a perplexed look when he said there was plenty of other things they could do the ‘be close’ without putting the baby at risk. He didn’t have to see her to know what look she probably had, or that she may wonder what things he meant, even if she wouldn’t ask him outright. It was still her way to be stubborn. Even in asking a question.

Ginga nodded a bit. It was pretty, but… it wasn’t like the open painted plains or the red mountains or the wide open sky with a rainbow of colors at sunrise and sunset as far as the eye could see. She felt almost claustrophobic here and yet she’d only been here two days… The twins were young and had spent the better part of the last year under their mother’s harsh and cruel thumb, which meant they’d seen little more than the inside of this hut or that one… they weren’t allowed out to play like common pups. So for them, this place was paradise, and for that she truly was grateful. They wouldn’t feel the same cabin fever she already felt. Perhaps tonight she’d sleep on the balcony of her room. It might help ease the sense of the walls closing in, even though her room was massive in comparison to the tribal huts back home. “It is…“ she said simply to Aster. “You’re happy here?“ she asked.

“Thank you for that,“ Maks said to Shale with a smile. “I should let you speak to the Alpha and the Pack council for me,“ he joked. “Laws can be challenged, exceptions made, but rarely with any sort of ease. My ability to stay away this long for the sake of my sisters was trying enough to prove my mettle, I imagine…“ Had he gone back while the Baron was in power, without Shale, his sisters would have been thrown into slavery in the worst of ways. By staying away, he prevented that, because as far as the Baron was concerned, the dhole was still on the hunt and would return with his quarry. But now… that fear was gone with the Baron. Now, it was just a matter of how and when he would get home with the Abyss here. He knew, from Simon, only that it didn’t venture all that far north, so there is was still safe.

Cleo nodded a little and then tensed a bit, drawing her legs up onto the chair and pressing back against the back of it a bit when the girl came around to set a plate of food in front of her, having seemingly come out of nowhere and startling Cleo a bit. She wasn’t usually so skittish, at least not when Ceil was with her. She relaxed a bit when she realized what happened and leaned forwards to pick up her fork and start to eat. She was hungry and for good reason, as Frau had picked up.

Meeka moved to eat as well when the food arrived. She smiled over at Baillie, chewing on a piece of crunchy bacon. She watched the little display Baillie showed. “Does that mean Baillie’s seen a wedding before?“ she asked her friend.

Cleo also watched and then looked to Frau. There was an air of something in her voice and Cleo wondered if she wasn’t… allowed to go. She didn’t know that it was Daire’s wedding, or that that’s who Meeka was marrying… They’d hidden his scent from her on the mink…

Ashe laughed softly and began to eat. “Well, I’m relieved to hear that, considering we’re still so new to this,“ she mused. It was amazing how it felt as though they’d been together forever, and yet it’d only been four months, tops. “How’s your food?“ she asked before taking another bite of her own, grateful to have a bit of her appetite back since her body had been too tired from giving birth to their twins to really seem to crave much of anything beyond rest.

Lassa gasped at the movements as Trilander began to rock his hips. She was so sensitive, it was almost electric what he did to her when he was inside of her! Her sweet voice seemed more than capable of letting him know it too, if her body’s strong reactions to him weren’t enough. She blushed deeply hearing her full name. A name she had only been given in the days before meeting him, but she cherished it as her’s… and to hear him say it in any way, but especially like that -- so deep and rich and full of emotions meant solely for her -- it thrilled the young selkie on levels she hardly understood! “Tri…“ she moaned, his name breaking off prematurely. “Tri… lan… der…“ she moaned in return through the rocking motions.

“Well now… don’t start doing that,“ Ros teased. “Or I may think you were trying to draw me into the waters with the siren I love so well,“ he mused playfully, knowing it’d earn a little disgruntled nose wrinkle from her, because River hated the theory about merfolk and luring sailors to their watery graves, but he did love to tease her with it. Which she also knew well!

Yuna finished her drink and set the glass down before smiling and nodding with innocent eagerness. “Yes, please,“ she said about going to see the gardens. She was full of that curiosity that was said to leave Gatans astray or into trouble. It’d led her, in Silvi’s mind, into her own brand of troubles already -- mating at such a young age, but Yuna would hardly call it a problem. Altair did pretty well keeping her out of all of the other trouble her kittenish curiosity nearly got her into again and again. But it also meant she was openminded and had a healthy spirit for adventure, which was good to have these days. She wasn’t a scared kitten that seemed unable to connect with the world around her. She was a real little go-getter… at least until you brought up school! She got off of her chair and waited for Silvi.

Odette listened and, although she’d never say it to Soliel, she wished it would never happen again too, but knew history had a way of repeating itself, even if the circumstances changed. She hoped only for a long period of peace once more. One that lasted long enough for generations to enjoy that peace and flourish and for D’Jorin and her denizens to recover from all of these harsh times. “That’s a good way to look at it,” she said with a smile. “Trust me, Soli, when I say that you’re far from alone in that endeavor,” she said.

“Uh huh. I think you both have a problem,“ Larkspur remarked, well aware that the Fine Fur was likely an equal instigator.

“What problem?“ Mira asked, confused.

“You can’t keep your hands off each other long enough to even make it to your standing appointments on time, MiraLiru,“ Spur said.

“Oh… but… it’s not like it’s anything new,“ Mira rationalized as she followed Larkspur into the office and the door closed behind her.

Sarah stepped around behind Drak. “Come in, Koran. There’s some things you should be updated on anyway,“ she said before heading back into her office. Drak not only needed to catch up with his youngest son, but it would also only be right to let him know that his elder half-brother had been through an ordeal and we recovering on Drak’s sky island.
