Shiloh (Orion thru Amara)
Re: No Subject

“Yeah…“ Orion said simply and walked with Rotta back through Unkindness towards the Sacred Tree to drop off the crystals. It was a shame the crates were so heavy and the crystals so precious to the security of the village, otherwise they could fly them there and save plenty of time. But he knew better than to rush something this important, so walking is what they did. This wouldn’t take them too long, though. They were moving at a good pace across the walkways and bridges connecting the platforms of the sprawling village.

Eros listened to Dimael as well. He could tell from not just the gargoyle’s aura, but his tones, his sincerity… that he meant all he said. He also knew… he was confused by things Eros had said earlier, about his aura and how it reminded him of Twilight. “I’m sure she’ll be here soon, and then we’ll get to know everything he has to share,“ he assured Mars.

Twilight looked up at Jupiter as they walked, her hand holding a little tighter to his and her gaze traveling down and away a bit as she heard Zanna speak. She couldn’t bring herself to look back at her sister. “Okay…“ was all she could say. It wasn’t cold or warm, just a single word of acceptance. She’d accept the help, though Zanna had yet to make Twilight feel like she was a sister in Zanna’s eyes… if she ever was. As they grew closer to the royal offices, though, twilight got an odd sense of peace… like she was approaching something familiar. Perhaps because this wouldn’t actually be the first time she’d encountered Dimael, only she’d never seen him before, only felt he was close by and that presence made her feel somehow in control.

Liora watched her brother get floated back over to their playpen, her eyes wide and curious as she brought her fuzzy little tail around to suck on the tip of it. Her eyes glanced up at Acerbus and then she smiled and reached up her free hand, pausing in using her tail for a pacifier long enough to let out an excited little, “Da!“

Koi smiled a bit and shook her head. “I think it’s romantic,“ she said softly. “That all that mattered to you was who you were marrying, and that you were in love… titles didn’t mean anything. That you wouldn’t let them deny you what would make you happy,“ she said.

Vera shook her head as she walked with him. “You don’t have to apologize for anything.“ She bit her tongue, knowing her insecurities rising up over watching that heated exchange between Rio and Gizmo had no place here whatsoever. And yet how she wanted to ask him why it felt like it’d been more between them than friends-with-benefits or a fling as he’d put it… “Sorry it went that way…” She said, honestly. This was not the way this day was supposed to go. The first few minutes of it were good at least… before they heard all of the ruckus at the Inn and it felt like the morning was heading the wrong way completely…

Saffy smiled and gave him another soft kiss, leaning up to rub noses with him playfully. “I’ll never get tired of hearing that,“ she said before moving to pull away a bit, so they could continue walking, though he had just as much control over whether or not they parted so quickly as she did.

Blake smirked and chuckled a bit at her last little remark. “Well… we’ll have to see about that one when the time comes. I might prefer Sasha’s help a little more,“ he joked before moving in to give Mela a kiss. “I’ll let you girls get back to your time together. Besides, I have a feeling Serg might need a little help keeping Horace in check with the staff,“ he joked.

“He’s not wrong. This whole place is alive, but the Archives are equally ancient as the spirit that inhabits the castle. Both spirits are born from the goddess Nour’s light, so La’Shire has said…“ Garand said, then shook off the little history lesson about his home. “So, then… we just need to head to the Archives. Though… we’d need my father’s key to it,“ he said. “He’ll keep it in his office.“ without it, only those of his direct bloodline could freely come and go, and being adopted, Garand couldn’t do that. “Only way in without the Guardian,” he added.

Sandy smiled when he said they were on the same page. She moved in to kiss him when he seemed to look away towards the sunlight pouring in, causing her to perk up a bit and look over at the balcony doors. “Is that bad?“ she asked, looking at him curiously. The only bad thing about it was that they had a fair bit to do before they could say ‘I do.‘ Other than that, there were probably no complaints coming from the panther!

Soraya nodded a bit as they reached Safira, but then she cocked her head curiously at her gesture of greeting. She then paid closer attention to her wing and arm… realizing them were very fine prosthetics. She’d been so distracted with her other features… it also seemed to escape Soraya, but perhaps not Abbadon, the slight resemblance between the girls. “What is your name?“ she asked, Abbadon’s remark having already summed up their curiosity over why she was here and not back in Aer’Oro. The only ones unaccounted for were a handful of units that had been sent out. Only one had none return. The rest had at least survivors who returned to report of their fates. These reports were how Aer’Oro learned so much of the Abyss while existing outside its reach.

Senn looked to Torin and then back over where the girls were. “Juno too… That’s why she’s not herself,“ he said. It made sense why she was so shaken by the premise of her father being able to reach them. She’d gone through a rebirth. She had no need of the lifetime of walls she’d built within her to protect her from her father; layers built from pain, fear and suffering. Those things had been stripped away for her with the breath of new life, and now Severin was bringing them all back, and Juno had little defense against the way they affect her. “You should be paranoid. We both should,“ he said, looking at the girls.

Juno took a breath and sighed, closing her eyes and rubbing them a bit with her palms. “Yuuri… I don’t know if I can do this… “ She looked at her sister. “He showed me things that Frau’Lea made sure wouldn’t haunt me anymore… I just… I don’t know if I could ever find that form,” she said quietly.

“Oh… well, I’d like it to be as true to you as possible. Please let me know if there’s anything about it you’d like changed before I get started with making them,“ Amara said. She knew a large catalogue of styles and fashions to weave her designs from, sometimes incorporating several cultural or tribal influences into one design. But if Eri would like it to be truer to the traditional gown of her kind, she’d be happy to make any adjustments to the design.
