Shiloh (Nour thru Sarah)
Re: No Subject
Sat Sep 1, 2018 11:57am

Nour smiled when he mentioned his sisters. They’d been relegated to their stones, happily so in fact, for so long… longer than Solace had… because they chose it. “They always had such insight… more than even us,“ she admitted quietly. “I want this too, Solace… If we had to go back to how it was before today, I don’t know that I could,“ she confessed. They couldn’t take back what had been spoken between them, the kisses, the professions of love. She moved in and leaned up enough to kiss the phoenix again, her long, elegant tail coming up around them both, all shimmering with the crystal tufts in her fur and the same dust that seemed to cause her skin to shine with that light that Lashire and Lemuria were so known for.

Rohdorn watched as the gates closed and Tomoe went with Mildune, one of Luminos’ Seven Lights. He looked to the orb in his hands. To make it complete again, he needed only to collect the final verse from Trayavane, but… he would not do such a thing until this was all over. As long as the corrupt darkness existed and Raiser was of this plane, it was safer to keep part of his verse with the priestess of Adriel. At the very least, now Raiser would only have dominion over her abomination she made and could no longer corrupt what belonged to him, the purest and truest of night. There she had no right to tread any longer.

“I didn’t know I’d even want a baby, though… until…“ Topaz still wasn’t sure. Well, no… she did. She figured out she wanted it after she was assured she wouldn’t lose it, but the fact she still worried about losing it made her worry that wanting it would just hurt more if she did end up losing it…. But Fii was so confident… and he did have the Nocturna, which was so rare back home and so plentiful here because of Fii… and no Blue Nocturne Roo had ever lost a joey as long as they had the Nocturna for their entire pregnancy. It made it easier to let herself accept her feelings of wanting this baby. The other thing sh ewas competing with initially was the lingering phobia of pregnancy as a sklave… it was forbidden and essentially a death sentence. But she’d been out of that life for a while now and far too spirited even when she was in it to let it really play too heavy a roll in anything happening now. “Did you? Did you always want one?”

Cleo walked with them through the castle, looking around a bit. It was very different walking around without Ceil… but she felt okay. Frau’lea was a very comforting and calming presence, and holding onto her hand, it helped keep Cleo from getting nervous and wanting to run off to find Ceil. But she was also nervous about the spa… Just the fact they had to tell her the girls were gentle made her timid about just what would happen there.

Meeka walked with Baillie, her little heart bells on her necklace chiming as she had a little bounce to her step. With several weddings happening tonight in the castle, the spa would be a busier place today, but no one would really notice, because it was rather extensive and a relaxing space. “Uh… hmm… the one that’s like… I think it’s called passion fruit?”

Maks looked at Taevasina curiously when she came up and mentioned a favorite from his home. He smiled and nodded. “Of course. How about I show you?“ he asked. It would be easier to demonstrate, of course, his presence in the kitchen was likely to send her staff into a momentary tizzy, even if he was only there a moment and then returned to the girls. “I’ll be right back,“ he said to Shale, wanting her to let Fauve know. He then gestured to Tae to head back to the kitchen with her. It was funny how the dhole never even noticed the attention he got from other girls. Fauve noticed, but his focus was always on the girls in his life that mattered to him.

Thayne nodded in agreement with Daire. “I don‘t think Liam was ever compromised the way the rest of us were. He was bound to fall in love. I think it was more of a surprise that the rest of us did,” he mused. “Like Daire basically said… the guy was good at his job, but his heart was always a bit too good for Severin’s tastes. He made a big mistake putting Frau’Lea in Liam’s care.” Thayne then shook his head. “Well… anything we can do to help you out with preparations today?” Thayne asked. “Our girls are with Frau and Meeka for the day… so…”

Liam found himself standing at the balcony doors, oddly enough, his and Frau’s room facing the dark mountains where Aether and Cecelia were residing safely in between the Abyss and the shelter of La’Shire’s protective magics, though unable to pass thorugh her boundaries. Something kept calling to him in his sleep, and it felt like that was where he needed to go. But by the time he’d wake, it’d almost slip away from his memory why he felt compelled to go, Cecelia’s assurances that he’d never tell Frau about what his dreams entailed… how could he tell her when he couldn’t remember? He rubbed his eyes and returned to bed, still exhausted because Cecelia wouldn’t let him rest peacefully… He figured to try again, not recalling why he couldn’t sleep well in the first place. He sighed and nodded back off, unaware he’d only get another seductive little visit in his mind… and while the goddess of that realm could step in, she also prided herself on not interfering unless others were… and Cecelia certainly was…

Keelin got such pleasant feelings all over whenever she heard Solan say those words to her, and especially in those husky tones of his. She blushed and returned the kiss when he initiated it, her tail thumping happily against the bed. She could feel the depth of his words in that kiss… he always made her feel that, and she hoped he could always feel it in return, just as her gaze always left him feeling it.

“I‘m okay…” Wynter whispered, meaning she could probably get in now. She was from the far north. One wouldn‘t imagine she‘d have trouble with cold… and she wouldn‘t have if she‘d been allowed to grow up normally instead of as a prisoner to a crazy Hume King who used cold to torment her instead. Jarral understood it better than anyone else, because he‘d gone through it too. She didn‘t make any motion to move, though, as she was still wrapped up in one of his wings and her nightgown completely soaked through, clinging to the shy lycan‘s frame.

Zai was in the safest place at the moment, nestled in bed in her home in the heart of Ethion. The only risk came from the Wylds, and one had to wonder if the tigers would take advantage of the Druids being fully focused on this bold and public threat happening at their front door, letting another threat slip discretely in the back. Spiritus was already giving out her warnings of danger, and it would be impossible to distinguish if it changed to indicate a new threat versus the one right in front of them. While Singo and Suna were set on finding another way and speaking to Kei and Eko to do so… Tokeru and Tonka were currently in change with Suna MIA with Singo again… suspicious until they returned with fish or a boar for the next meal… but that meant they were more likely to make a move that could endanger any hope of peace with Ethion.

“We really should think about getting back. Who knows what sort of trouble my brothers are stirring up…” Singo said as he laid in the cozy bed of furs in their cave with Suna. They couldn‘t mate. Difficult as that clearly was for them, but to have this place to escape to together without anyone knowing… it was enough for now… He could be with her like this, but he knew it would get harder to hide his feelings from the others the more their relationship evolved. To protect her, he had to, though.

“Yes, I’m aware of how you felt about my mother and my father,“ Naiya said simply. She’d learned of his advances on Nydia, and how she’d rebuked him in favor of Demiter, whom she loved. And yet, Ramos respected her father’s talents. “My father left behind for me just as little to his creation as Leon left for Kirie. I created Zion on my own from what he left behind, with so little to go off of that I had to do it myself. It was the same for Kirie. Miravanna is her creation. Not her father’s, and certainly not yours. The only help she had in making it came from her Tigara,“ she said sternly. She then looked when Ruze appeared in a flurry of petals, looking far more imposing than the form Aiyan and Naiya were accustomed to.

Once the Elves left, Naiya listened to aiyan and Ruze speaking. She hesitated a moment. “There is a way. I‘m in touch with the doctor there, the eldest of Traitorin‘s daughters,” she said, “Sarah…” Kei would know of Sarah, who had married Dkhoran, a dragon who Kei still wasn‘t all that fond of. But… perhaps a message could get sent through Sarah to Trait, and he could speak with Finn and Sylar in turn, as both were currently in his home, though Sylar intended to return to the Drow Village with Traya within a day or two time. “Are you saying the Sky Elves brought that creature to kill Kirie?” she asked, shaking her head a bit. “But they‘re Sky Elves…” She found it hard to imagine they‘d been corrupted by the Abyss, and therefore could pass through it freely, but… if Silvantis was that corrupt to begin with, to try to assassinate a simple Alchemist‘s young daughter… it would be easy for the Abyss to take him… and all of them in turn.

“Well, they’ve already failed…“ Eko said. “Because it’s already been sent to La’Shire and it’s already out there for others to use. And, as I told you, I’m not going to let anything happen to you. This is your home. They won’t make you leave it.“ He watched her seem to relax and then, he too felt it, the change in that feeling Spiritus was putting out, the one that had made the fur on his tail bristle. “Good… We‘ll have to find out what happened,” he said. It was probably for the best that they hadn‘t ventured out there while they were here… it could‘ve gone much worse. He wrapped his arms around her as she leaned into him and gently rubbed her back. “Then we won’t stop. We’ll find a way to make them stop instead…”

Sarah smiled when Koran started to blush. It was so rare to get Drak to do it. She nodded a bit when Koran thanked her for the ‘vote of confidence.‘ “I wouldn’t have said it if I didn’t believe it,“ she assured him. She then looked back to Dkhoran when he spoke up. She got the sense that he didn’t believe quite as strongly as she did that Raiser wouldn’t get her way back in here… and maybe she was naïve to think they could be safe in some sense, but… she also needed to have that faith in this place. In her home… and in the ancient light that protected them. She turned back to Koran and smiled again. “So, I guess you’ll want to get going then, Koran… I’m sure you had things you wanted to get done before Mira’s visit is over,” she said, though he was always welcome to stay if he wanted to. She needed to make a call to Ethion anyway, so… “Or… maybe you want to take Drak with you and let him see the forge and what you do there,” she said, still trying to help the two reconnect on levels they were still working towards. She was sure Drak wasn’t all the keen on possibly standing around while Sarah talked with Naiya.
