“Good… well then I’ll leave you in Rotta’s capable hands,“ Orion said with a smirk. He moved to walk past Rotta, pausing a moment. “Maybe you should stick close to Mizuki,“ he said with a teasing tone, almost to get him back from his remarks from earlier. He then headed off to get back to the Inn… unaware Crys and Phere had gone on an outing, though it just meant he’d have no reason to avoid settling into his new room…

“I have more power than that…“ Twilight said, knowingly. “You’re saying I don’t have to use it?“ she asked. She knew enough to know… she was capable of doing more than just guiding, but to be told that was the only true expectation of her brought some relief to the princess. It lessened the weight of responsibility on her shoulders, although… she was right, and there were those like Chaos who would have her use all reaches of her gift, including her ability to command Pherenice… something Twilight in her heart could never willingly do. She shook her head when asked about Pherenice, how she was. “Cold, angry… demanding. She threatened me into choosing a side, said if I didn’t, she’d kill every one of them from all sides, innocent, guilty, those fighting, those hiding… and that would be my fault,“ she said. It was hard to recall that moment, when Pherenice had done that to her. It brought tears to Twilight’s eyes, which she worked very hard to prevent from being shed. She’d done well to forgive and forget feeling pushed to choose death for… hundreds… thousands… who maybe could have been saved… who were only listening to orders. “She called herself the Sword.“

Eros listened quietly… this was more information than he’d previously gotten… about Pherenice. He knew some. What they’d told him, what Phere had told him, but… Then he heard Jupiter speak up and understood why… because as he’d seen yesterday, Twilight did not have much control over her visions. It was more like they took control of her for their duration and left her in a state after. Could Dimael actually teach her how to control it… or were those skills in Aeon…?

Nah uh… I’m gonna be the… best… flier…. Liora started to return, but her eyes were closing and her thoughts grew sluggish as Acerbus played with her little ears, something that usually soothed the little one.

Delilah opened the door to their apartments and came inside, pausing as she saw Acerbus and the girls in the living room. “Oh..” she closed the door behind her and looked around a bit more. She’d half expected to see Zanna here watching the girls while Acerbus went with Twilight, but… seemed the plan had changed. “Hi girls,” she greeted her nieces as she came into the living room.

Koi smiled and looked between them, “And in the end… here you are… happily married,“ she said. “I can’t wait,“ she whispered. Although she and Mars already acted like they were, there was something exciting about making it official, making it real. To have their wedding.

Vera walked with Rio back to the Inn. They’d made it most of the way before that kiss between them, and they didn’t have much further to go. She leaned into Rio a bit as they walked with his arm around her. She liked the feelings she got with him. “So… think things have quieted down at the Inn?“ she asked curiously. At least it seemed the tension from the encounter with Gizmo seemed to have disappeared after that kiss…

“Lana is fine to be down there. She’s done a lot to help in this place and I shouldn’t even have to vouch for her. My father would be fine with it, but he’s with Dia right now and actually taking it easy for once, so I didn’t want to bother him. She’s coming with us,“ Garand said.

“It’s okay, Duncan. I think she’s proven she can be trusted. She’s only interested in helping,“ Saffy reassured him. “You should go take them down there… I should… get back to my parlor for my first patient,“ she said with a sigh.

Nascha looked at Mela curiously and then shook her head. “I was little when my Parliament fell. Snowy Owls aren’t as close knit as other Avions… we were all in one community, but it wasn’t like a village… it was like we all lived in our own little families but close enough for safety…. Those that weren’t taken all probably fled and started over elsewhere,“ she said, honestly. “I… wouldn’t even know where to reach out to…“ It was odd talking about it. This was the first time anyone inquired about her family. Most, even Serg, probably assumed -- like with so many -- that her family was gone or lost and bringing it up would be a sore subject… leaving it up to her whether or not she wished to discuss it. But Mela was a concerned and inquisitive friend and Nashy didn’t seem to mind so much… she just didn’t have any real answer for the ravenness.

“Huh…“ Blake let out under his breath when Horace returned the dish rather than setting it down to be retrieved by someone else, and then thanking the chef directly. He looked at Serg and nodded. It wasn’t so much that he was so focused on Horace… but rather… he knew the boy deserved better than what Helios offered him. He was putting his son on the wrong path for this world and Blake wanted to remedy that, the way Traitorin had done for all of them. “I’m glad you enjoyed it,“ Blake said as Horace came back over to them.

Sandy watched him fold the letter up and smiled when he said it was their wedding and their life… no one else could really dictate what they did with those. “He probably doesn’t mean anything bad by it,“ she said. “We get rings?“ she asked Panro after another moment, curiously, smiling. “Like Fang’s?“ she asked, since the dragon still wore his wedding ring, even though his wife had left this plane.

“I think she knows that,“ Senn said with a smile. “Looks like Yuuri’s gotten Juno to calm down some. Maybe we should let the girls to talk and we can go find a way to help Juno in the moment, right? Like I said, I know someone who can help us with those dream catchers you mentioned… It’s worth a shot…“ There were a handful of dream sages in the castle, be they Dream Walkers like Kahiri, Dream Watchers like Mildune… or Guides like Kia. But there was one who did make a physical effort to aid the dreams of others… and she did so through the creation of dream catchers. She’d made them for a few of the knights as thanks for being rescued from the Abyss about a month back. “Calliope… Calla.”

Soraya looked to Abbadon and then back to Safira. “I can arrange for the tech to be delivered here then… and see it properly fitted for you by whoever rigged up those… temporary replacement,” she said. “No reason for you not to go home once you have something decent to take you there,” she said. “I’ll handle the… the other matters… clear things up with my father over the reports that were made. Your team will be honored properly, as they should have been,” she said. “Excuse me. I should go… do that..” she said before nodding her head to Safira and walking off back towards the Royal Oak and the shared guest suite for her and Abbadon. Something had her frazzled about this older girl they were talking with… something beyond her ordeal…

Aspen stood in one of the smaller gardens. He knew Tria would never go for anything too big or fancy… but he’d make it special. An outdoor wedding in the Eastern Gardens, with fairy lights in the cherry blossom trees and trellised archways that lined the path to a fountain where they could say their ‘I dos…‘ It was to be a full moon tonight, too… He knew there were other weddings occurring this evening, but none on this side of the palace… One would be on the roof, another was in plans to be in the rose mazes… so he knew this garden would be completely theirs.

“I think she’ll like it,“ Movado said as he stood with his little brother, surveying the gardens even as some of the staff were tending to it to ensure everything was perfect, even in its lovely simplicity.

“I hope so…“ Aspen said quietly, actually sounding nervous.

“I can’t believe you’re getting married. You’ve really pulled your life together, little brother. I’m proud of you,“ Mov said, placing a hand on his shoulder and giving it a squeeze.

“I just want to be the best for her,“ Aspen said. “For… them…“

“You are. She wouldn’t have said yes if she didn’t believe that too,“ Mov assured him. “Tonight will be perfect for both of you.“

Juno nodded a bit and took a deep, calming breath… letting it out slowly. She looked at her sister again and reached out, taking her hand. “Thank you, Yuuri…” she said quietly. “I don’t think I’m really up for this today… but just talking with you is worth it… I don’t think I’ll be able to shift until I get around this block he’s put in my way, that’s holding me back. I think I need to speak with your friend, Kahiri, before I can even think about trying again.” To take on the form that was natural to their mother, a form Juno had never taken… didn’t feel worthy of taking after Severin kept reminding her of what she’d done to their mother when she was a child… she had to first know her mother forgave her. Without that… Juno just couldn’t take that form, no matter how hard she’d try. But more than that… she needed to know if her mother really was trying to reach out to her… that she truly didn’t blame her, that she forgave her… that she loved her.
