difference between 7am and 10am with regards to heat coming from the roads and sidewalks.. If you think it's the crowds and traffic, by all means don't coddle him just praise him like crazy for being a good boy, bring treats with you, when you encounter new people, hand them a treat, let them ask him to Sit.
