Aww Betsy I'm so sorry about your brother ;(
Mon Jun 11, 2012 3:06pm

You are an Angel for bringing him and his family to be with you guys! I'm sure you made some forever memories during that time for sure.. It's a very noble thing what you are trying to do with Daisy, however if it were me, I'd try to find her a new home where she is the only dog (if that's something that you can bring yourself to do) I'm sure your brother just wants Daisy to be happy and it sounds like nobody is happy right now. It sounds like you have done everything you can to blend them, but with Daisy being 10, she's not likely to want to change her ways anytime soon, and I'm sure she misses your brother too.. Wish I had some magic wand advice for you ;( Your daughter and her hubby must be wonderful people too, to drive your brother's dog and bird down to Fla from Texas.. Just know that whatever decision you make, we are all here for you! You could have never known what would happen when you promised your brother you would keep Daisy and Popeye, but I'm sure your brother wants everybody to be happy, that, I am sure of ;-) Hugs to Maggie, I bet she's on guard all the time when Daisy is around not knowing if she's gonna get jumped or not, no fun! Much love and healing hugs to your family from ours xo Crystal and gang..

    • I tend to agree with Crystal that Daisy Donna (Ariel), Mon Jun 11 3:33pm
should be an only dog. She's older and used to being the "leader". That being said, the only thing I would suggest would be a dog trainer. Sometimes an objective eye is needed. Good luck. What you're ... more
