I tend to agree with both of you that Daisy should be an only dog. She would be insanely happy. Maybe I just needed permission to give up but it may take awhile. :-) I know Maggie thinks that would be a grand idea, too...and my husband...and...maybe I'm the only holdout? By the way, Popeye (the Conure) is doing well. He lives in our bedroom and gets plenty of pampering and has a big window view. He is about 20 years old. I suppose he will outlive us.
