This is a new drug that is supposed to be effective for arthritic/inflammation issues. You might ask your vet. It is expensive. I got Ozzie's from PetMed $70 for a month supply. There needs to be a "washout" period of several days if pup has been taking Carbuprofen. Ozzie is no longer allowed to jump up on anything, but that might be a problem with a 79 lb doggie. Do you have hardwood floors? If so, back booties to prevent skids are helpful. Canine massage is also an option as adjunct to treatment. Seemed to help Ozzie, but several sessions are needed. It is heartbreaking to see our pups hurt. This is the worst part of having a forever friend...watching them decline. It's killing me!
