experience. It had to be a comfort to their families that their children were so welcome and felt like members of their host family. It will be a bit of an adjustment because we haven't had teens in our home for a long time, but I can hardly wait. Anna is not a fan of dogs, but we talked at length about it and she understands that Roo and Ellie are not kenneled, have free run of our home, and are family members. Ellie jumped onto Anna's bed when we were touring the house and Anna looked startled. I told her she did not have to allow the dogs in her room or on her bed, but she would need to keep her bedroom door closed if she didn't want them in there. I feel like she will learn to enjoy them because both pups are well-behaved, but if not, at least she understands that we won't be confining them and her room is her space and she can choose to allow them in or not.
