for the struggle of your friends and my heart goes out to their dog.
It is a terrible decision, but I would let him go peacefully. Even if money is not an issue, putting a dog almost 10 years old through chemo..........
The comment below is more than spot on: it would be more for us than for the dog to prolongue his life.
I would not even put a dog only 3 years old through chemo.
Peggy, this is such a terrible situation your friends are in and I do not want to be the one having the make this decision. When Jerry died, I didn't have a choice. I am not sure what I would have done though. Surgery? Yes. May be. But no chemo.

    is 9 1/2yrs.old and had anal cancer about 3 weeks ago removed. Now the report came back he still has cancer. She is so upset and doesn't know what to do about chemo. Please any opinions are welcomed.
