They took extra time because they still haven't concludes whether it's a carotid tumor or a plasma cytoma which is usually found more in the area of the mouth. Whatever, it is cancer. A plasma cytoma is more "benign" in nature & can be removed easily - however, since Luigi's tumor is so vascular, that makes it inoperable.
He suggested that we make an appointment, next week, with the chemo/radiation department that coincides with the removal of his stitches. Even with radiation & chemo, we may not have a clear prognosis for Luigi.
He's looking so good right now, too. You'd never know his body was going though this malodrama.
