it wasn's a problem/issue. I can remember when Maci was a pup and we were doing our therapy class to become certified, the place we were at was an old warehouse and the stairs were metal/steel with an open back - she was terrified of them. One person told me to just drag her up the stairs (NOT). I probably carried her most of the time (yes, I know silly but there was no way I was going to force her). Fast forward, when we went back the second session, she was older and didn't think twice about it. I also had the same problem the first year we did a trip with Maci's breeder to her mom's second home - the stairs tot he second floor were open and she wanted no part of it but the next year we went back, no fear. I think it is the open part that must scare them - have no real good advise to offer but hopefully she will come around. Hope all is well with you and yours. I think of you often.
