her second bout of kennel cough since I've had her (Feb.). This time the vet gave the same antibiotic that Travis has. Her case was not nearly as bad as Travis'. She never had fever or quit eating.

The pet daycare told me that one dog had a severe case the previous weekend. I'm thinking that she got it from that source. I was told that the vaccine only covers 5 of about 30 strands of the virus. The following week it seemed all the dogs at the daycare had some degree of the virus.

Good news is that Whitney was without a cough and back to her old self in three or four days. Travis may have something else, but if it's kennel cough it seems like your vet has it under control. I'm hoping that's it. The other possibilities seem more difficult. Good vibes your way. S, K n W.
