Wow, those are small classes! I would let her be, and not check in until P/T conference time which is usually in November. Assume that if your child is enjoying school and you are pleased with what is coming home (homework assignments, notebooks, so forth) that all is well. If that is too long a wait for you and If your school has an email set-up, you can send the teacher a note after about 3-4 weeks of school just to check in and see how she is doing. If you keep checking in with her, the teacher will think you are being a pest and your kid may bear the brunt of her displeasure.
