oily skin
Tue Nov 30, 2010 02:13

one of my schnauzers has what is called a schnauzer complexion very oily and pimples sort of like acne.

i use a prescription shampoo that i get from the vet . i also give the fish oil which i dont see a difference but give it to him anyway.
the only thing left to do is go to a doggie dermotologist which i think is too expenisve and since it doesnt bother my dog nor does it itch him i just follow what my vet tells me to do.

i only bathe him about eery 5 weeks the more u bathe it seems the moreoily.

For my oily-skinned mini, I am still using the salicylic acid shampoo as I described in December. Her skin is much better, but her coat is still unpleasantly oily in less than 2 weeks. So in case the ... more
