Sat Jan 7, 2012 20:21

Hi..i have a 4 1/2 yr old f mini who i have had since she was a pup..about two yrs ago she started having "episodes" of discomfort (cant sit still) panting and shaking..she has been to a couple of vets including a internal specialist..has been checked for parasites, anal gland issues, pancreatitis, uti, had ultrasounds done to no avail,,vet put her on amtriptyline for anxiety and gabapentin for the pain...i cannot say there has been much of a change...she may go for months w/out a prob..she is on good quality food..anyone have a similar experience with their mini..episodes may last from 20 min to several hours...they are starting again with more frequency..thanks!
