North Shore Amphibian and Small Mammal Training

The District of North Vancouver’s Environment Department invites you and your environmental monitoring contractors to a free Amphibian/Small Mammal Handling and Identification training session.

This training session will enable staff and contractors to accurately identify and distinguish local frog/small mammal species that may be encountered during creek and development projects within the North Shore. Species that will be discussed include (but are not limited to) Coastal Tailed Frog and Pacific Water Shrew. Training will be provided by experts at the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations.

Where: District of North Vancouver Municipal Hall – Committee Room
355 W Queens Rd, North Vancouver, BC
When: November 15th, 2016 from 10am to 12pm
