HELP RESTORE BOWSER TRAIL ON APRIL 29TH

We are looking for volunteers to help manually remove invasive plant species, like English Ivy, from our Bowser Trail and to replant it with native species. Bowser Creek runs parallel to the trail and our hope over time is to improve water quality before it reaches the ocean. This event is being run by a new Streamkeeper member and volunteer! Bean Around the World will be providing free coffee to volunteers and local residents will supply home-baked goods. No experience needed, just a good attitude. Tools and native plants will be provided by DNV staff.

WHEN: Saturday, April 29th : 10 am – 12 pm

WHERE: Meet at the trailhead on MacGowan Ave, North Vancouver (Google maps location: http://bit.ly/2pkT8zk)

WHAT TO BRING:
- Dress appropriately for the weather, we’re working rain or shine
- Bring gardening gloves if you can (extras may be available)
- Water bottle and reusable mug
