Forgot to reply to the "golden qualities". We had a golden before Barney. I will tell you that none of the golden qualities are missing from Barney- his sole purpose in life is to please everyone around him- from babies to adults. He never meets a stranger, is never dominant and LOVES all other animals- from cats to deer; he even attempted to make friends with a snapping turtle last weekend but that didn't work so well! He is incredibly obedient and smart and is pretty submissive but at the same time, not serious and VERY goofy. Just a great guy and we would not change a thing about him...
