First Day
Sat May 26, 2012 01:03

It will be six weeks beforre we'll receive our pup, and I'm already having fun thinking about how to handle the first day with him. When we pick him up at the airport, should we give him a chance to stretch his legs and relieve himself before the 40 mile car trip home, or would it be better to keep him in the crate until we can introduce him to his new surroundings? Should we bring little treats for him, or would that be a bad idea in case of airsickness? Any first-day experiences you could share would be helpful.
