Go directly to the cargo area. Clerks at the passenger area won't know anything about your pup. The cargo guys will have the pup and the paperwork. Don't forget to bring ID. Our puppy arrived in great shape last week and is doing well. Best wishes!

Hi, Can you tell me if you went directly to the cargo address when picking up your puppy or did you check in at the main airport first? Thank you!

  I am getting my puppy on Friday too! ....and I'm nervous as well, but thanks to your post and all the positive replies I am a bit calmer. What litter is your puppy from?

  go right to the cargo. they have the puppy there. We got our doddle via Delta cargo. He came in fine and dandy. No problems and he is now 1 and 1/2 years old. We love him to death.
