Thanks for sharing your experience. It helped put my family at ease. For a while we were really worried that our happy home with a dog had changed to an unhappy happy home with two dogs! The first 48 hours were rough. But, I am happy to say the situation has improved. It is not 100% better, but we are hopeful. I think we may just have a very vocal puppy who still isnt sure about our other dog and his surroundings quite yet. We are going to meet with a trainer for a private lesson later this week who helped train our other dog. We are all going to go and see if the trainer can teach us how to alter the behavior/reassure us about what is and is not normal. All and all, we are very hopeful that they will be snuggling in no time.
