Linking Off Site

This may be a moot point now, but just to illustrate my point earlier, if you click on this link for Slate, you'll see as you scroll down and to the right that there is additional content provided -- i.e. The Onion, Newsweek, etc. where you click on the link and it opens up in a new window on the existing site:

That's what I was trying to convey earlier for what I was hoping for. So that said, I will seek such content elsewhere.
