How would they profit? Are you talking about paying customers?

NASA doesn't own Mars. As far as I know, no one has claimed to own Mars. I think the only objection would be that it seems dangerous.

I'm in favor of robotic space exploration, and space tourism. I think robots are the most cost effective way to explore other planets. I think space tourism will be profitable for private enterprise in the future.

I'm not sure how safe nuclear pulse drive is. Even if it's safe when used properly, there is the possibility that the bombs could be stolen by terrorists.

      If people are willing go under those circumstances, why not let some corporation send them. I would really like to "volunteer" ray and tinfoil, though.
