... as far as your ancestors' names are concerned. And, of course, you start with your name. Oh, and your e-mail address, which is what is used to get in. Don't think you have to give them your actual address or phone number, though. And the information stays on the site. But it didn't cost me anything. I had done searches of actual census documents in Fort Worth several years ago and couldn't find anything on my Dad's side of the family. But at I found that back to the 1600s. Nice. I printed out my "family tree" so now I have it on paper.

I didn't find it any more intrusive than signing up for an e-mail account. :)

    i have thought about giving a try from time to time. a while ago, i did a lot of tracing the family tree in the USA - even found the countries some of my ancestors originated from - but... more
