We tested our first programs in New York
Thu Feb 3, 2011 21:21 the IBM data center. The larger programs were tested
in Chicago. My first experience with 42nd Street was a
result of those trips.

My first program on the IBM 705 was in operation for 10 years,
but I left that installation long before that. In California
I wrote an unpublished Fortran textbook for internal
company use. In Australia I wrote an unpublished COBOL
textbook. for internal use in a computer school.

I did some babysitting for programs at Rand Corporation and
had a consulting position at Systems Development Corporation.
