Knock Knock on the door this morning! Lady standing there with the cutest and sweetest little white doggie you have ever seen! Do you know this dog, she asked? I didn't and we chatted for a while. She had found the dog, wandering, with a leash still attached. Took it to PetCo. Doggie had a microchip but it was registered to Pets In Need...the rescue group...and the owner had failed to transfer the registration! We are still trying to find Little One's home. I had some homemade chicken strips that I gave her, which she gobbled down and then had a big drink of water. Poor little bugger...so tired and hungry. Just breaks your heart. Her "finder" is out knocking on doors! BE SURE YOUR MICROCHIP REGISTRATION IS CURRENT AND ACTIVE !!!
