I have found that there are two menus that do me just fine. One is the Intelligent Auto. The other is the SCN (scene selection) with a considerable number of options-all useful. That's about it, unless you want to get into figuring out manual adjustments-which are beyond me at this point. Also try out the Panaroma setting...it's fantastic!
