Evan had to hold back a chuckle as the girl tripped over her words, speculating over why he was reading so much about the pop sensation. To him, the answer was evident, yet he had to remind himself that she probably wasn't in the talent show as he hadn't seen her at rehearsals. Even if she was planning to have something to do with the show or had somehow seen the name of his act, she'd know it as the Titunn Family Medley, not some boyish routine revolving around Justin Timberlake. He doubted she even knew his name, though, so it wasn't difficult for him to place her confusion. If he himself were caught in her position, watching an older male bore his eyes into books about a famous icon of the same sex, he'd come to the conclusion she was undoubtedly coming to.

Of course her results were wrong when she hadn't pieced the puzzle together correctly. And how could he blame her, not having the decent ends to put the picture in place. He hadn't given them to her. Evan smiled in amusement and sat up a tad straighter. Shaking his head, he answered, "I'm not particularly fond of him like that. I am merely researching for a performance. The Talent Show." He nodded and extended his arm halfway across the table for a handshake. "Hello Rebecca, I'm Evander, but you can call me Evan if you'd like." He didn't bother to add his last name, although she presumably hadn't heard of his family if she wasn't from Ukraine. Either way he desired not to make her any more anxious. She was already fumbling over her words and messing with her hair; he didn't want her to start pulling it out next. Making her feel the least bit comfortable was an essential at the moment.
