Nicols mussed up his long hair as he entered the place where Study Hall was usually held. He looked impassive on the outside but inside, he was grinning from ear to ear. Now he was an SGA member and with luck, a Chaser for the third year in a row. Never before had it felt this great to be busy. He filled his hands with mini bags of chips and two sealed drinks; Nic already had muscles, it wasn't like a few grams of fat would make them just go 'voosh' in a disappearing act.
He took a seat at his usual table and watched the other students get refreshments and sit down. None of them really sparked his memory right away. There were only seven representatives, after all. And on top of that they were all from different years. Unless a fellow Draco from the Quidditch team was here, he doubted he knew anyone older or younger. Nic smiled when Professor Munro greeted them, feeling nostalgia come upon him. Professor Munro was an awesome Defense teacher, but Nic sort of missed him being the Quidditch coach - despite the fact that the Professor had given him his first detention ever.
Nic gobbled down two bags of chips and opened his soda while Professor Munro and President Anders went on. Once President Anders asked for suggestions, Nic was the first to pipe up. "Oooh! Oooh!" He raised his hand and then remembered he didn't have to. "80s party," he grinned and waited for Anders to write it on the board. It was a secret fantasy of his to dress up like Prince and sing without feeling like an idiot. Purple rain...
